Privacy Policy

In brief

Retia is designed to minimise data. The app has no user account. We do not store the content of the articles or searches you analyse.

What we process

When you start an analysis, the article text (or your search term) is sent to our server, in France (OVH), only for as long as it takes to produce the result. It is processed in memory, without being written to disk, then erased. The result is returned to you and is kept only on your device.

This text is sent to our inference provider Nebius (language processing) and to the Wikipedia APIs to build the context. We do not send them any data that could identify you.

Connection data

For the security of the service and our legal obligations, we keep minimal connection metadata: timestamp, IP address, pseudonymous device identifier (App Attest), request size and rate-limiting verdict. Never the content of your articles or searches. Short retention, restricted access.

Notifications

If you allow them, we use Apple notifications (APNs) to tell you when an analysis is done. The article title may appear in them; it is not kept on the server.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification and erasure. As we keep no personal data tied to an account, these rights essentially concern the connection metadata. Contact: contact@retia.fr.

Processing takes place within the European Union (server in France).
