Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Retia app and the associated service, which provides reading context (background, related ideas, keywords) from an article or a term you submit.

2. Nature of the service

Retia is a technical intermediary: you frame the request, the service relays it to third parties (a language model, Wikipedia) and returns a result to you. Retia is not the publisher of the analysed content or of the generated results, and cannot guarantee their accuracy.

3. User responsibility

You are responsible for the requests you submit and for how you use the results. Any unlawful use is prohibited. You ensure that you hold the rights to access the content you submit for analysis.

4. Reliability and critical thinking

Results are produced by an artificial intelligence model and may contain errors. They are an aid to understanding, not a source of authority: verify anything that matters.

5. Availability

The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability. Usage limits (quotas) may apply to protect the service.

6. Reporting

Any abuse or problematic content can be reported to contact@retia.fr. We act within a reasonable time after a specific report of unlawful content.

7. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.
